Human Complement C1q tumor necrosis factor-related protein 4 (CTRP4), UniProt # Q9BXJ3, is a 34kDa protein expressed in the brain and multiple peripheral tissues. Secreted CTRP4 can form large oligomeric complexes including a ~210kDa hexamer. CTRP4 is highly conserved across most vertebrates with homologies to mouse, rat, and canine greater than 90%.
Sourced from mouse monoclonal IgG1 with reactivity in humans. Targets CTRP4 and is a clone of CTRP4-1E8. Protein G purified from hybridoma cell culture supernatant. Applications include ELISA and Immunoprecipitation. Does not recognize denatured CTRP4. Arrives in a Lyophilized Vial shipped by FedEx Overnight.
