Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein-1 (MCP-1), also known as Chemokine (CC-motif) ligand 2 (CCL2), is a key player in inflammation and induces the recruitment and activation of monocytes and macrophages. It also attracts other immune cells including T cells, NK cells, and basophils. MCP-1 has been linked to the progression of several diseases including cancer, kidney damage, and Alzheimer’s disease.
Sourced from E. coli, Gln24-Pro101, with N-terminal His Tag. Purity is >90% by SDS-Page. Applications include ELISA and Western Blot Analysis. Arrives in a Lyophilized Vial shipped overnight by FedEx.
