Product Description
Interleukin 5 (IL-5) is a T-cell derived cytokine initially defined for the ability to support the terminal differentiation of B-cells to antibody secreting cells. In vivo overexpression of IL-5 increases eosinophil and antibody levels making is a potential target for the treatment of severe asthma.
Sourced from HEK293, Met1-Ser132, with C-terminal His Tag. Purity is >95% by SDS-Page. Applications include ELISA and Western Blot Analysis. Arrives in a Lyophilized Vial shipped overnight by FedEx.
