Product Description
Selenoprotein P (SEPP), UniProt # P49908, is a secreted glycoprotein and contains the majority of selenium in plasma. Produced mainly in the liver, SEPP is comprised of 2 domains, with the N-terminal containing 1 selenocysteine and the C-terminal domain containing 9. SEPP’s ability to transport of selenium plays a role in a number of different processes, including response to brain injury and parasitic infection.
Sourced from mouse monoclonal IgG1 with reactivity in humans, it targets Selenoprotein P and is a clone of SEPP-3F6. Applications include ELISA Capture and Western Blot Analysis. Arrives in a Lyophilized Vial shipped overnight by FedEx.
