Product Description
Interleukin 6 (IL-6) is a soluble cytokine that can affect inflammation, immune response, and hematopoiesis. IL-6 signals through IL-6R, which can occur as a transmembrane or a soluble receptor that is found in serum. IL-6 is generated immediately following environmental stresses such as infections and tissue injuries. Dysregulation of IL-6, which can lead to over production, may contribute to chronic inflammation and autoimmunity.
Sourced from HEK, Met1-Met217, with C-terminal His Tag. Purity is >95% by SDS-Page. Applications include ELISA and Western Blot Analysis. Arrives in a Lyophilized Vial shipped overnight by FedEx.
