Product Description
S100B is a calcium binding protein found in the nervous system and is a member of the S100 family of proteins. Following neuronal injury S100B is released into the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and can be measured in serum or CSF as a marker of injury to the central nervous system.
Sourced from E. coli, Ser2-Glu92, with N-terminal His Tag. Purity is >99% by SDS-Page. Applications include ELISA and Western Blot Analysis. Arrives in a Lyophilized Vial shipped overnight by FedEx.
