Recombinant Mouse GM-CSF Protein (E. Coli)
Granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) is a cytokine with many functions including driving the production of myeloid cells such as monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, and dendritic cells. It can be a key mediator of chronic inflammation and arthritis and can impact the aggressiveness of cancer. GM-CSF is used in the clinical setting for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, AIDS patients, and those undergoing bone marrow transplants.
