Interleukin- 18 (IL-18) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine that plays a role in a variety of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Produced by many different cell types including monocytes, macrophages, keratinocytes, and mesenchymal cells IL-18 plays a role in arthritis, psoriasis and other autoinflammatory conditions.
Sourced from E. coli, Tyr37-Ser181, with N-terminal His Tag. Purity is >99% by SDS-Page. Applications include ELISA and Western Blot Analysis. Arrives in a Lyophilized Vial shipped overnight by FedEx.
