Canine IL-8 (Interleukin-8), also known as CXCL8, is produced by numerous cell types including monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, and eosinophils. IL-8 is a potent angiogenic factor that promotes the formation of new bloods vessels. It is also involved in tumor growth, would healing, as well as certain cancer such as bladder and gastric cancers.
